Built to face the sea
A 150 m² villa set within a private 4,000 m² olive grove beside the sea on Alonnisos — one of the last untouched islands of the Northern Sporades.
The house is made up of two fully furnished, independent apartments, each with its own lounge and kitchen, sharing the grove, the verandas and a 50-metre path that leads straight down to a secluded pebble beach. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms in all — enough room for a large family or two families travelling together, with the option to keep to yourselves.
Handmade clay, worn stone, soft linen and green shutters. It asks for very little and gives back a great deal of quiet, with the Aegean always in front of you.
The horizon is the whole show here. On a full-moon night you watch it rise straight out of the sea, a silver path laid across the water to your terrace. On a clear night the sky goes on for hours — every star in the universe, close enough to count. And in the morning the sun climbs up from behind the mountain, spilling first light across the bay.

The layout
Ground-floor apartment
An open living room, kitchen and dining area with cream sofas and dark-framed windows, a master bedroom with wardrobes and air conditioning, and a tiled bathroom. Doors open straight onto a long covered terrace under a reed pergola, with the sea in front of you.
First-floor apartment
A larger open-plan lounge with an open fireplace and dining area, a full kitchen with every appliance you could need, a master bedroom with ensuite, a twin room, a single room and a family bathroom. Balconies run along the sea side.
Outside
Stone terraces on both levels, a shaded dining table on each, a stone barbecue among the olive trees, and a 50-metre path down to the pebble cove. Parking is right at the house.
